I’m really very excited to share this engagement session. I first met Sam waaaaaay back when we both worked at O’Charley’s together – it was practically a century ago. However, we met each other AGAIN, years later, when I photographed her brother’s wedding last year! I love that when Sam got engaged, she knew she wanted to hire me! It’s always such a great feeling knowing that someone loved your work before, that they wanted you for their very own. I put my heart and soul into this business, and it’s a great confirmation that I’m doing something right.
Any ol’ way… Sam and Nick are currently living and working in Cordele, Georgia. They’re both working as softball/baseball coaches for local colleges there. Considering they both grew up playing ball and now they’re both coaching ball, we incorporated that into their session just a bit.
This session did stress me out – just a bit. I drove FOUR hours to get to them. Well, more than four hours because of the traffic I hit on the way down. The traffic! Oh my Lord. I was slightly freaking when I FINALLY got to them because we were running almost an hour behind schedule – however, I like to plan ahead… so we were actually right on time. And the SUNSET! MY GOD, THE SUNSET! You’ll just have to see for yourself at the end of the session.
I am absolutely so excited to photograph their wedding on July, 4th! Just a few months away, my friends!
Enjoy these photos and as always, please leave some love in the comments!
