I absolutely adored photographing Sam and Nick’s wedding day at the Tennessee River Place. This is one of my favorite venues to photograph from the beautiful archways to the riverside property. It’s just a sweet spot in Chattanooga to get married and the Tracy wedding was a perfect day.
The forecast called for rain pretty much all day. As a photographer, I’ve learned to just pray for the rain to hold off. It’s really all you can do on a wedding day and in my opinion, your best bet. The rain did hold off until right after the ceremony where it barely sprinkled for only a few minutes. It was excellent timing, actually. As the ceremony began, the clouds rolled in creating a breeze and a nice shade over all the guests that were there watching Sam and Nick exchange their vows to one another.
The evening rolled on and the guests and bridal party danced the night away and the wedding came to an end. Everyone lined up outside for an awesome sparkler exit and just as we all finished saying our goodbyes… the bottom dropped out and the rain storm started! I couldn’t believe that the storm had held off the entire day.
I’ve truly enjoyed the experience of capturing Sam and Nick’s love. From their amazing engagement session to their perfect July 4th wedding. Their passion for each other really shows throughout their images and in real life. They’re just as precious as can be and I cannot wait to watch their family grow in the future. Congratulations, you guys! Thanks for letting me be a part of your love story!
